MotionCAD OLE Object Help
 This page provides help for creating OLE objects with MotionCAD. Note to perform this operation you require the full version of MotionCAD.

 

What is an OLE Object?

MotionCAD is integrated with Microsoft's OLE. OLE is short of Object Linking and Embedding. With this you can embed objects from other applications installed on your computer into MotionCAD. Examples of these are, Word & Excel documents, Audio clips, Pictures, database, HTML browsers, ... almost any object.

Useful objects?

One of the most use objects you will find in this list is the Wave sound object. This object will allow you to record sound and store that in the MotionCAD document. This can be used to provide voice instructions to people using the view-only version of MotionCAD.

To record a voice object choose the Wave sound as shown above (select Create New) and then select OK. After you have pressed OK the sound recorder window will appear on the screen.

Word documents are also a great way to extend the text capabilities of MotionCoach. One example is to import standard forms into your teaching, possibly to detail the data on a series of swings.
