MotionCAD General Help

provides help for general options of MotionCAD.
 Can you
Zoom?
MotionCAD
has zooming. To zoom the active document you can click on any of the controls shown
below.
Can you Undo/Redo?
Yes this popular
feature in available in MotionCAD, and it works the exactly same way as
all other programs you might have used in the past. In the "Edit" menu
.
The
grid of points in the background is this
optional?
Yes, when the grid is shown the object
positions will snap to these points. In some cases you will want
better accuracy
over the placement of objects. In
this case remove the grid. The options for the grid are available
on the menu option "Layout"/"Grid Settings...".
Can the tool bar be
customized?
Yes, to customize the items in the tool bars, right mouse
click on the bar. This will open a popup menu with the option customize.
Click on this option to customize the options and the placement.
Drag and drop video files from Explorer does this work?
Yes, you can select files from Windows Explorer and
drop them on the MotionCAD window. This will trigger the creation of
a new document.
Cut, Copy and Paste Drag from other windows programs like
Word?
Yes, you can use the clipboard to
transfer text and pictures. Any supported format can
be transferred.
Can the lines/analysis be saved to
view again?
The MotionCAD document you
are working with can be saved exactly the way it is seen on the screen. This
file can be re-opened at anytime in the future and changed and then resaved. To do this use the File/Save As menu option to
choose the file name. The registered extension of MotionCAD is
"MTN".
